This morning, the Paris City Council adopted the plan unanimously Parisian bike!

I intervened in the debate to defend the right of amendment of the opposition. The right wanted to take a full part in this project because it has contributed.
Often the executive Parisian forget to pay tribute to the government of François Fillon, without which a large part of the bike plan would have been possible!
Indeed, thanks to contraflow lanes provided by the Prime Ministerial Decree of 30 July 2008, Paris the cycle network will be able to count on 185 Kms extra (between 40 kms already adopted in 2009 and the 145 kms we pass tonight). This text requires the creation of contraflow lanes on all streets one-way located in areas 30 on the national territory. 65 Parisian districts will be affected. It would be more fair play from the Mayor of Paris, to render unto Caesar what belongs to Caesar, and thus belongs to what Fillon Fillon!
Little reminder to use the Council of Paris:
the 800 km planned by the Mayor of Paris 2020 in the capital
-256 Kms have been made under the terms of office Chirac and Tiberi;
-185 kms misinterpretations resulting paths provided by the 2008 decree.
This means that the right has contributed to 55% of the cycle network in Paris.
I recall these figures to fight against a misconception that the right would be hostile to cyclists.

The 15th has put forth in this debate an ambitious plan for the borough cycle network, called "Harmony" that was the subject of a draft decision at Borough Council 23 March 2010.
This term sums up the philosophy of this project: to reconcile all users of the highway around a less confrontational sharing thereof. Let us not motorists, cyclists and pedestrians! Harmony is the desire to encourage bicycle use by persons less inured to this mode of travel and who dare not, fearing for their safety, get started.
What is "Harmony" :
-enrichment, further, the cycling plan.
-is a network of bike lanes on-road
which is a breadcrumb for cyclists
