Last night was held on departmental committee of the Federation UMP in Paris bringing together all constituencies Parisian executives appointed at the last internal elections.
The purpose of this meeting was to proceed to the election of President the first federation of France of our political movement whose leadership is being given to Jean-Francois Cope at national level. Three candidates were nominated: Olivier Badelon Philippe Goujon and Dominique Hamdad-Vitre.
Much is at stake because the electoral calendar is very full in the next 3 years: Senate elections in September 2011, presidential and legislative elections in 2012 (Paris are not covered by the cantonal elections).
Philippe Goujon has been brilliantly re-elected with over 79% of the vote.
long time, I know his many qualities that enable him to accomplish this mission successfully. He has my support, my help and my friendship to prepare these appointments are essential for our country.
